That malady of the middle ages consumed her. Her arm was eaten away, clutching only by a single muscle. A flesh string. Her face boiled up, one of her eyes became blind and the other was so weak that it could not bear the light. Bedridden, she took on the sickness of all. Suffered for all. For thirty five years she lived in the cellar. And with tears in frozen streams, light descended upon her and lifted her up and expelled every malformity and she was made whole. Festering wounds exploded in plumes of perfume and all that were sick were cured.
